Dog Obedience Clinic Wednesday June 9th 5:30 pm Intro to dog obedience clinic given by Jeanie and is the first in a series of training clinics on obedience that will go all the way through basic agility.  We will be working on basic commands such as sit, down, stay, heeling, and recalls.  Dogs of all ages and experience are welcome.  The training will be useful in turning your dog into a well behaved member of your family or the start to a competition dog.  $5 4-H Members $15 Non Members 6:30 pm Meeting for 4-H dog members.    Show Etiquette Clinic   Sunday June 19th   1:00-3:00pm Brooke Wright will be presenting a clinic on show clothes with a question and answer session on what is appropriate for the 4-H show.  Please bring what you have for show clothes if you are a 4-H member.  After the unmounted session, participants will ride for the arena etiquette session.  Things such as how to pass, proper spacing, steering, dealing with crowded areas, and much more will be covered.   $20 For the Clinic $10 Horse Lease Fee   Competitive Trail/Endurance Clinic  Saturday June 26th  9:00am This clinic is highly recommended for 4-H members and those who do not know how to take the basic resting stats of their own horse!! Mary Hardzinski will be hosting a training session on what competitive trail riding/endurance riding is and how to prepare for a ride.  She will also demonstrate how to check heart rate, respiration, dehydration, and lameness.  This is very important information all riders should know, especially ones with their own horses!   After the information and hands on demonstration, we will be offering a mock 45 minute competitive trail ride.  Riders will go out in supervised groups, young riders welcome!  $15 for unmounted session $25 total for unmounted and trail ride $10 horse lease fee Photographer Sunday June 27th 9:30 Start Time Just a reminder that the photographer will be here Sunday the 27th.  You need to sign up ahead of time for a time slot or you will not be on the schedule.  Inform Jeanie of what time you would prefer.  Times starting at 9:30am, every 1/2 hr after.
